A 16-year-old boy founded the company “The Rings of God” to honor the Virgin Mary.

Will Henry is an American Catholic teenager. Four years ago, he founded a small company called “Rings of the Lord” to produce rosaries in honor of the Virgin Mary and to promote the praying of the rosary.

The 16-year-old “entrepreneur”, the eldest of five children, lives in Hendersonville, North Carolina. One Sunday morning in 2021, a family friend showed him an “Irish reparation rosary”, a set of 10 beads secretly used by Irish Catholics during the persecutions of the 17th and 18th centuries.

The design of the rosary and its meaning immediately captivated the 12-year-old boy. When the family friend in his thirties said he didn’t have time to market his product, Will said, “Okay, I’ll do it.” With the help of his family and his computer skills, he launched “Rings of the Lord”.

The rosaries are made of silver beads, plated metal, and stainless steel to prevent breakage. “The quality of the rosary is very important to me, because I believe we have to be very careful about what we ask of God, showing our respect for our Creator,” he told the National Catholic Register.

Handmade, he needs the help of his siblings, especially his 13-year-old brother Walker, who has been helping him since the company’s inception. Depending on the season, the brothers make and deliver hundreds of Reparation and Classic rosaries each week.

Will writes and marks on a map the stories of saints who spread devotion to the rosary: “The important thing for our time is to be close to Mary, the Mother of God.”
