Former Hollywood actor Bug Hall published a beautiful video of him singing a “Mater Dolorosa” hymn to his new baby.
Hall, known for his role as Alfalfa in the 1994 film “The Little Rascals” is a practicing Catholic.
The actor has a devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows and the Rosary. In the video, the husband and father of four children strokes his baby’s head as he chants the hymn.

Hall announced and explained his conversion to the Catholic faith in 2020 after a history of drug and alcohol abuse, legal troubles, and allegedly being sexually abused as a child.
He willingly left the Hollywood life to live on a farm, raise a family, and devote himself to God.
In the video, he says an exorcist from the Archdiocese of Denver helped him become Catholic.
“With one conversation with him, all the pieces came together for me,” he said. “The Catholic faith and the Catholic Church is the most beautiful thing in the history of the world.”
He has since shared his passion for the Catholic faith on his Instagram account, including his love for the Blessed Mother.
Recently, the 38-year-old published photos of a home altar and his property’s outdoor Stations of the Cross. He also shared his love for the Holy Rosary and the baptism of his newest baby.

However, while Hall often publicly shares his faith, some social media posts at times stir controversy.
The former actor faced criticism for his views on child discipline.
He also publicly supports the death penalty, which the Catechism of the Catholic Church says “‘is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person,’ and she works with determination for its abolition worldwide.”
Despite this, however, many of his faith-based posts are truly a light in a world of darkness.
Our Lady of Sorrows, please pray for us!
