Faith Games, Inc. dropped its trailer for the new virtual reality video game dedicated to Bl. Carlo Acutis.
Pope Francis beatified Bl. Carlo Acutis on Oct. 10, 2020. The 15-year-old video-gamer and computer programmer developed an incredible website documenting the Church’s Eucharistic miracles.
According to Faith Games, Inc., the Acutis Game™ is “the first decentralized Catholic open-world Metaverse.”
The game takes the player through Catholic history, including biblical stories, meeting the saints, and discovering holy landmarks.
“Created in honor of Blessed Carlo Acutis, a young computer programmer who documented Eucharistic miracles in a website that he built before his death from leukemia in 2006, the Acutis Game™ is an open-world video game that allows you to join Blessed Carlo on epic adventures,” the game’s website explains.
“Discover a world of imagination and inspiration that will grow over time with exciting new video games and virtual reality experiences.”

Faith Games, Inc. co-founder Karl P. Kilb III said the company hopes to “further Bl. Carlo’s mission” with this game.
“During his life, Blessed Carlo enjoyed video games and saw the Internet and new technologies as a means of documenting and spreading faith,” Kilb said.
“We want to help further his mission with exciting virtual reality experiences, video games, and other multimedia content designed to educate, evangelize, and enhance faith.”
Eddie Cullen, another Faith Games Inc., co-founder, said interactive experiences, such as the Acutis Game™, can help people deepen their faith.
“Technology can be used to solve problems and enhance education, and we see ourselves at the intersection of technology, faith, and social impact,” Cullen explained. “People of all ages can learn and develop a deeper connection to their faith by immersing themselves in interactive experiences.”
The New York-based video game company set the game’s release for Oct. 12, 2023, the feast of Bl. Carlo Acutis.
