A teenager named Sanchez del Rio was born on March 28, 1913, Mexican, died a martyr on February 10, 1928 under the prohibition of the government of President Plutarco Elias Calles - a bloodthirsty "Demon" who hated Catholicism. There was no limit to his teaching, he killed priests and burned many churches and many parishioners.
From an early age, young Sanchez had a great and passionate love for the Eucharist, and encouraged his friends to increase their devotion to God and Our Lady of Guadalupe.
One day, he witnessed the guards hiding some expensive roosters inside the church sanctuary after being locked up here, he immediately said: "This is not a chicken yard.
This is a place for God!”. After that, he caught and killed all these chickens. He was arrested and was one of the many Christians who died for the Faith in the bloodbath that massacred Catholicism in 1927.
He was beatified on November 20, 2005 by Cardinal Juan Sandoval Iñiguez of the Diocese of Guadalajara, Mexico.
Currently, the body of Sanchez Jose Luis is located at the Church of the Heart of Jesus in Sahuayo, Mexico.
To this day, the young Blessed's body has not been damaged and remains as a reward and Divine gift from Heaven to Christians with a call to
“Continue to glorify God in this world” and is also a Living Proof and a message to the whole world that “FOR GOD, nothing is impossible”.
