The video reveals how to make an attractive "Holy Host" you should watch once

These Irish nuns spent their time making cakes for Mass.

As a young girl, my favorite part of Mass was witnessing all aspects of the Eucharistic liturgy. I firmly believe that the familiar little waffles fell directly from heaven into the tabernacle and filled the chalice for the priest to share with churchgoers. (I still like to think they do!)

With 2022 being declared the Year of the Eucharist, I think it's time to address that important question: How exactly are those little round waffles actually made?

A recent video on TikTok reveals the process — and it involves some very precise measurements and cutting, as well as a lot of devotion and prayer.

The video shows some Redemptorist nuns working hard, with the loaves being pressed and cut and eventually flying out of the cylinder into a bowl. It's gratifying to watch and you can even see the sisters checking the quality to make sure each piece is perfect.

In fact, these red-robed nuns, who share that they are “in the convent grounds, isolated from the world, but holding the world in our hearts in prayer,” demonstrate their love and care for Christ – and the rest of the world – giving the faithful the opportunity to receive Him in the Eucharist through their hard work and devotion.
