BIOGRAPHIC BIOGRAPHY OF GERMANY BISHOP POLOL MARIA CAO DINH THUYEN
Bishop Paul Maria Cao Dinh Thuyen was born on January 7, 1927 in Trang Luu parish, Trang Luu parish, Ngan Sau district, Vinh diocese (now part of Ha Tinh diocese), Loc Yen commune, Huong Khe district. Ha Tinh province. His birth father is Mr. G.B. Cao Dinh Tung (died 1967) and Anna Nguyen Thi Dich (died 1968). His family has 5 boys and 2 girls, and he is the first child.
* August 13, 1938: Entered Xuan Phong School.
* August 13, 1942: Entered Xa Doi Seminary.
* July 1, 1950: After completing the minor seminary, Brother Paul returned to help the Department of Management of the communal house in Commune Doai, and helped Father Peter Cat to manage.
* January 1, 1955: Entered Xa Doi Seminary.
* May 1, 1957: Entering the clergy.
* December 21, 1957: Received minor positions.
* January 31, 1959: Received the rank of Assistant Deacon.
* February 1, 1960: Was ordained a deacon.
* May 14, 1960: Ordained to the priesthood by Bishop G.B. Tran Huu Duc.
* July 12, 1960: Vice parish of Bao Nham.
* January 31, 1961: The governor of Quy Hau.
* August 13, 1971: Administrator of the Episcopal See.
* In 1980: Appointed General Representative, concurrently 2 parishes of Nhan Hoa and Xa Doai.
* November 1, 1992: Appointed Coadjutor Bishop of Vinh Diocese by Pope John Paul II.
* November 19, 1992: Episcopal consecration ceremony at Xa Doai Cathedral, presided over by Bishop Peter John Tran Xuan Hap; Bishop Motto: "To be crucified with Christ".
* December 11, 2000: Successor to the Bishop of Vinh Diocese, replacing retired Bishop Peter John Tran Xuan Hap.
* On May 13, 2010, after 10 years as pastor of Vinh Diocese, Pope Benedict XVI accepted his resignation and appointed Father Paul Nguyen Thai Hop as the successor bishop. .
* August 29, 2022: Bishop Paul Maria was called by God, at 13 o'clock, at Nghe An General Hospital. Enjoying 95 years of age, 62 years as a priest and 30 years as a bishop.
